Seitan - what is it?

The kebab tastes delicious - but what am I actually eating there?

Seitan is made from wheat or gluten and is rich in protein and  100% plant-based - so vegan! We produce in Leipzig with as local raw materials as possible.

For the production of seitan  we directly use gluten, a natural vegetable protein.

 

Seitan gets its meat-like consistency and taste by boiling or steaming the raw mixture in a marinade. It is then cut into slices or pieces and heated. And then it can be eaten in the kebab. :) Good Appetite!

Our ingredients:

Drinking water, wheat protein (29%), rapeseed oil,

Table salt, spices (contains mustard),

Thickener, guar gum,

Locust bean gum
